Palash Apte received his doctorate in Physics from Michigan Technological University, Houghton Michigan in 1997. He then went on to pursue a Postdoctoral Associate position at the Center for Magnetic Resonance Research (CMRR) at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. Since then he has held scientist and engineering roles at various companies including Doty Scientific in Columbia, SC, Lam Research in San Jose, CA and Atomica in Santa Barbara, CA. For the past 18 years he has worked at Raytheon Technologies in Goleta , CA as a Principal Multidisciplinary Engineer. He has won numerous aswards and has published several papers in peer reviewed journals. He also volunteers as a member of the editorial board of the Journal of High School Science.
